Transition to SAP S/4 HANA with IBM
SAP HANA (High-performance Analytic Appliance) is a multi-model database that stores data in memory instead of disk. The result is several times faster data processing than in the case of disk data systems, which enables advanced real-time analysis.
SAP HANA, which serves as a platform for enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and other business applications, can be deployed on hardware infrastructure in an on-premise data centre, in the cloud or in a so-called hybrid cloud mode.
As global strategic partners, SAP and IBM have been working together and delivering joint innovation for more than 25 years. Since the arrival of SAP HANA in 2012, IBM has developed various software and hardware solutions that are certified on SAP HANA and deliver powerful, stable and secure solutions for this platform.
